- By underground: take the yellow line to Odivelas and get out at the station: Cidade Universitária. Exit from the station, by going in the opposite direction from the underground pavement café.

    - By bus: buses going north from downtown, and stopping right outside the Faculty of Letters are numbers: 138, 168, 31 and 35.

    - By taxi: taxis are relatively economical. Ask the driver to stop at the "Reitoria" (in the middle of the two Faculties of Law and Letters).
